David Goodwin is a writer from western Massachusetts. The Six-Year-Old Hobo is his second novel, following on the heels of Slave Camp Nightclub, published in 2013. Having enjoyed an almost full career in natural resources, working at a town conservation agency for five years, at the University of Massachusetts for twenty and the Massachusetts Bureau of Forestry for nine, he hopes to transition into writing fiction full time and free up more time to pursue his passion of cyclo-cross racing. He is currently working on his next novel, The Unintentional Eavesdropper, about a woman whose life is dramatically altered by snippets of conversations she accidentally overhears.
